an ok read but didn't sweep me off my feet. strange that it was short-listed for the booker prize. I think I enjoyed the last part more, the race issues were interesting, especially for a mixed blood like me. Though I consider myself european, I was raised by an african mother, and then sometimes there are these people that try very gently to teach me how to cross a street, because I have just fallen from the tree.And the end was a bit of an anti climax.
